Blocking a Single Track Bypass

This was round two or three in an attempt to keep motorcycles on the trail. Just west of the Miller Lake turnout, there were two sections of trail that pooled water until early summer. The motorcycles, and in one spot quads, would avoid the water and ride off trail.

Hopefully, this summer/fall, Placer County will correct the trail and remove the need for these users to ride off trail.

Logs were winched down the hill on to the bypass, drilled and rebar was used to anchor the logs to the ground.
